Fund gave terrific return by 105.6% in that period. Fund gave 15.3% and 10.4% annualized return in the last three and five years respectively.

Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, ITC, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Holdings and Investment, Cipla, Oracle Financial Software, Lupin, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation and Dr Reddys Laboratories are the top holdings of the fund. Banking/Fianace, Oil & Gas and Technology are the main sectors preferred by the fund. 96.32% of amount is invested in equities. 52 week high and low of NAV is Rs 31.99 and Rs 24.20 respectively. NAV of the fund closed at Rs 26.070 (7 November 2011).

 

Reliance Regular Savings Fund

Reliance Mutual FundIt is an open ended equity diversified fund by Reliance Mutual Fund. Asset size of the fund is Rs 3,122.68 Cr (Sep-30-2011). Fund started on 10 May 2005. Rs 500 is the minimum investment. Omprakash Kuckian  is the fund manager. Fund’s one year return is (-22.4) %. Nifty’s one year return is (-18) %. 2008 was a gruesome year for global capital markets. Nifty gave a negative return of 51% in the year. Fund also gave a negative return of 54.8% in that period. 2009 was a terrific year for Indian capital markets. Nifty gave 75% return in the year. Fund gave marvelous return by 97.8% in that period. Fund gave 13.5% and 13.1% annualized return in the last three and five years respectively.

State Bank of India, Tata Consultancy Services, Hero Motorcorp, Divis Laboratories, Bharti Airtel, HCL Technologies, GAIL India, Larsen & Toubro, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, ICICI Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation are the top holdings of the fund. Banking/Finance, Pharmaceuticals and Technology are the main sectors preferred by the fund. 81.7% of amount is invested in equities. 52 week high and low of NAV is Rs 35.43 and Rs 25.39 respectively. NAV of the fund closed at Rs 27.515 (7 November 2011).
